At its ordinary meeting held in Valencia on 22 December 2021, the Board of tranSkriptorium unanimously approved this Code of Ethics, which summarises the fundamental principles and values to which tranSkriptorium wishes to adhere.

For tranSkriptorium, the obligations it voluntarily assumes with respect to these principles and values are not merely an exercise in well-intentioned compliance, but are intended to be an internal benchmark for behaviour and action, a moral commitment to society and to ourselves and, ultimately, an element of differentiation of our value proposition that will distinguish us in the world.

TranSkriptorium’s activity is based on the generation of trust. Trust with our clients, trust with the members of the system and trust with the rest of our partners and stakeholders. For this reason, we want to be fully transparent about what commitments we make and how rigorous we are in making them.

The drafting of a Code of Ethics is always positive for any organisation, but in the case of tranSkriptorium it is particularly important, considering the type of activity that our company carries out.

Among the services we provide at tranSkriptorium, the provision of high-tech services for the organisations that place their trust in us stands out. In this way, our activity will also serve to transmit, propagate and disseminate to other companies the principles and values that we have adopted and whose content we embrace.

This Code of Ethics also includes the description of the whistleblowing channel, as well as the basic rules on anti-corruption and conflict of interest management, which will be developed through specific policies. These two elements are particularly relevant, once again, due to the tranSkriptorium’s particular activity and operating scheme.

Finally, we also refer to three texts whose adherence is proclaimed in this Code of Ethics in order to complement our system of values and our relationship with the world, all adopted by the UN: the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the Principles of the Global Compact and the Sustainable Development Goals. The inclusion of these texts implies that our activity will be equally adjusted by their content, which in the case of the second and third is also included in the annexes.

This Code of Ethics is intended to be permanent, but the formula for its revision and the procedure for its communication and entry into force are also described.
